Sachin Tendulkar has tested positive for Covid-19 and has entered home quarantine. The cricket legend, in a message on social media, said the rest of his family had tested negative.

Sachin Tendulkar recently led India Legends at the Road Safety World Series. India Legends beat Sri Lanka Legends in the final of the tournament. Sachin Tendulkar, the only cricketer with 100 international hundreds and 200 Tests, said he took all necessary precautions to ensure he kept Covid-19 at bay but he developed mild symptoms



Tendulkar took to his official Twitter handle on Saturday morning (March 27) to share the news.

"I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I've tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative.

I've quarantined myself at home and am following all protocols as advised by my doctors. I want to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting me and many others across the country
